UGA vs. Tennessee

On November 5th, the Dawgs hosted yet another spectacle when they hosted formerly #1 ranked Tennessee between the hedges on a gloomy Saturday that would only foreshadow the rest of the Volunteers’ season. Before the game, the Chalet once again hosted an unforgettable tailgate. As the smell of Bent Willys BBQ and Cafe Racer filled the air, music star Rayland Baxter took the stage to kick off the festivities for the day. Pictured above is current Social Chair Dimitri Nakis and Treasurer John Hawkins onstage alongside Rayland prior to the Dawg’s utter domination of Tennessee.

Franzia

December 1st marked the last hoorah for the chapter prior to buckling down in preparation for a stressful exam season with our annual Franzia french themed date night. The house truly turned into a chalet as Christmas lights sparkled in the trees surrounding the house among Charcuterie boards, red carpets, lights strung from the indoor ceilings, glow-up Eiffel Towers illuminating dinner tables as a cellist, guitarist, and The Wim Tapley Band set the scene for a beautiful night in Paris. Pictured above is Jay Wright, ‘24, accompanied by his date, and Luke Tredennick, ‘26, who took a slightly different approach to French culture.

Peach Bowl

December 31st marked another great day for DawgNation, as the highest-ranked team in the land matched up in Atlanta against the Ohio State Buckeyes. Brothers from across the country traveled back to Georgia for hours of stress-inducing football, countless OH chants, and one of the most spectacular New Year ball drop moments of all time as the Buckeyes failed to hold the lead over the Bulldogs when the final minutes ran out. There is not much to be said, as just over a week later, the Dawgs trampled TCU to claim a second consecutive national championship and much-needed redemption for all of the brothers who have seen more than their share of heartbreak.
