This summer has been rewarding for Mu Chapter. These rewards, however, do not come easily and the Chapter, realizing this, has performed better than ever to achieve unparalleled levels of success in preparation for the opening of the new Chateau. The summer rush process is in full swing and our brothers have learned better than anyone that hard work produces great results. Led by our three rush chairs, Mu brothers have devoted countless hours to this year’s recruitment in an effort to produce one of the most meaningful pledge classes Mu chapter has ever assembled. Continued support and focus from both the active chapter and the alumni will be vital to a strong finish this August.

In addition, the Savannah and Charlotte alumni/rush events were both a success. The Savannah trip was a great experience culminating in an evening of brotherhood and barbeque at the Isle of Hope Marina. The turnout this year was impressive as area alumni, brothers and rushees gathered at the marina. Looking forward, the Atlanta alumni/rush event is scheduled for July 29^th at Brio restaurant and we look forward to topping off the summer with an exceptional final alumni/rush event.

     Construction on the new Chateau is rapidly coming to a close. The Active Chapter grows more excited every day, yet remembers that this house is only a symbol for all of the hard work, time, and effort put forth by actives and alumni alike that allowed Mu chapter to quickly regain its position on campus. We are now only a few weeks away from move in (the furniture is being delivered Aug 3^rd). The Grand Opening of the new Chateau will be on August 29^th, and will include a brief program, lunch, and live entertainment. Aside from the Dawgs Home Opener, this is sure to be the event of the fall and we look forward to seeing you there. Watch for details in the mail and on this site.

     This fall will mark a great milestone for Mother Mu and we all need to make these last few weeks our best few weeks as we continue to grow and develop into the leading fraternity on campus.
