On September 11, 2009, Mu Chapter continued a long-standing tradition established by Delta Chapter of the University of South Carolina. Over 24 hours, brothers from both chapters continually ran the game ball for the UGA-USC football game from Columbia, SC to Sanford Stadium in Athens. The 160-mile trek was covered in multiple local newspapers and included police escorts from the UGA police dept. and and the Georgia State Patrol.
