Mu Alumnus Honored in Atlanta

Bobby Woods Mu 2300 was honored Monday at the Capitol in honor of his brave actions while fighting in Afghanistan in 2010, where he was shot in the head and sought medical attention. But not before evacuating other injured soliders and leading his entire platoon back to base.

A number of Sigma Nu brothers were present for the occasion, including former Mu Chapter Commander Buck Dixon Mu 2326, who was instrumental in bringing Woods’ actions to the attention of his hometown representative. Said Dixon, “The House likes to give credit where credit is due, especially for wounded soldiers and people who put everything out there."
